APR Technologies granted state funding for EHD-pumped two-phased loops
- News
APR Technologies has started a new development project based on its patented Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) technology. In recent headway for the project, APR has been granted SEK 1.5 million from the Swedish National Space Agency to investigate different aspects of EHD-pumped two-phase loops, as a complement to the EHD-pumped single-phase loops that are also under development. The pumped loops are intended to be used for thermal control in space applications.
APR Technologies to join major EU project for 5G integration in peacekeeping platforms and systems
- News
As part of our development within ICT, APR Technologies have recently become a consortium member of an EU-funded collaborative defense R&D project called 5G COMPAD. The project aims to demonstrate the relevance of 5G mobile communications technology to sustained information superiority.
ESA contract and SNSA grant enables APR Technologies to perform Thermal Switch demonstration in space
- News
APR Technologies recently signed a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) and received a grant from Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA) for a total value of 6,5 million SEK. The purpose of the funding is to perform an in-orbit demonstration of the Thermal Switch that has been developed for the Airbus Eurostar Neo geostationary telecom satellite product family.
APR Technologies demonstrates a modular long-life lithium ion battery system with extremely high volume density
- News
APR Technologies is launching a new project that will directly impact the transition to a fossil-free transport system. This project demonstrates a modular long-life lithium ion battery system that increases performance and lifetime of the complete battery module. It is a pilot series for industrial production and will verify the productivity of the battery module.
APR Technologies develops novel pump technology for spacecraft under SNSA grant
- News
In parallel to its thermal switch product line for satellites, APR Technologies starts a new development based on its patented Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) technology. APR Technologies has been granted MSEK 1.1 from Swedish National Space Agency and will develop a pumped loop enabling efficient and reliable thermal control of various spacecraft including rovers to Mars and the Moon.
