ESA contract and SNSA grant enables APR Technologies to perform Thermal Switch demonstration in space

APR Technologies recently signed a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) and received a grant from Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA) for a total value of 6,5 million SEK. The purpose of the funding is to perform an in-orbit demonstration of the Thermal Switch that has been developed for the Airbus Eurostar Neo geostationary telecom satellite product family.

APR Technologies demonstrates a modular long-life lithium ion battery system with extremely high volume density

APR Technologies is launching a new project that will directly impact the transition to a fossil-free transport system. This project demonstrates a modular long-life lithium ion battery system that increases performance and lifetime of the complete battery module. It is a pilot series for industrial production and will verify the productivity of the battery module.

APR Technologies develops novel pump technology for spacecraft under SNSA grant

In parallel to its thermal switch product line for satellites, APR Technologies starts a new development based on its patented Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) technology. APR Technologies has been granted MSEK 1.1 from Swedish National Space Agency and will develop a pumped loop enabling efficient and reliable thermal control of various spacecraft including rovers to Mars and the Moon.
